A Women's Black Hooded Puffer Coat built for the kind of cold that requires actual coverage, the Marlowe is cut in a quilted polyester shell with a wide fleece-lined hood that folds back as a collar when the weather allows. The diamond quilt runs across the body and sleeves, and the relaxed straight silhouette falls to a longline hip length with a slight A-line swing at the hem.
It opens with wide fleece facing along the entire front edge, so layering over a thick sweater or a knit is straightforward rather than a negotiation. Ribbed knit cuffs sit close at the wrist, side seam pockets sit at hand height, and the beige fleece interior is visible at the front opening whenever the coat is worn unzipped.
