The Caitlin is a Women's Oversized Sweater Dress cut long and straight, its fine rib knit running in an unbroken column from the dropped shoulders to a hem that lands at mid-calf. The collar is the detail that carries it: a flat shirt collar that folds down onto the shoulder and opens into a deep V at the chest, with nothing to fasten.
There is no waist seam and no shaping, so the dress skims the body rather than following it. The fabric is a soft-touch polyester, nylon, and viscose blend. Long sleeves fall from the dropped shoulder seam to a narrow ribbed cuff at the wrist, keeping the column silhouette clean from top to hem.
Ankle boots and bare legs work while there is still some warmth in the day; tights and a long coat carry it further into the colder stretch. An easy piece to wrap and give when the evenings grow long and the wish lists fill up.
