Cut from a short-pile synthetic velvet with a slight stretch, the Agatha Velvet Slip Dress carries an allover tonal rose motif worked directly into the pile, each small circular bloom lying flat and matte against the raised ground so the pattern stays quiet until the light shifts across it. Two fine spaghetti straps and a wide, shallow scoop neckline keep the upper body light and open, while the skirt falls in one unbroken piece from the bust to the ankle with no waist seam.
The velvet is a stretch knit, so it skims rather than clings, and the A-line cut opens gently toward the hem for ease of movement.
