Made from 100% polyester with a crinkle-gauze texture that moves as you do, the Ysolde is a Party Dress built around a deep surplice V neckline, a smocked elasticated waistband, and a ruffled hem tier that catches the light at ankle length. The wrap-crossover bodice drapes diagonally across the bust rather than cutting straight down, giving the neckline a relaxed, feminine quality that a plain V cannot match.
The wide smocked waistband, formed by horizontal gathered rows of elastic, cinches the silhouette cleanly between the bust and the skirt, while the A-line skirt falls loose and easy below it. Small double-layered ruffle cap sleeves sit at the shoulder point only, adding a delicate detail without competing with the neckline or extending past the shoulder.
The 100% polyester construction and smocked waistband keep their finished appearance through gentle cycle washes, so the ruffle tiers and fitted waist come out ready to wear again.
